Break into the creative and expressive world of Dance with the Catawba College Dance minor. Explore the foundations of a well-rounded, complimentary performing arts program that exposes you to a full spectrum of dance fundamentals, techniques, styles, and choreography.

The Catawba College Dance minor program teaches a full range of dance essentials in its balanced curriculum. You’ll explore Foundations in Movement, Tap/Jazz Dance, Ballet/Modern Dance, Historical and Cultural Perspectives in Dance, Choreography, and other Dance electives while complementing another performing arts major or any other major at Catawba.

Musical Theatre majors are encouraged to take courses in Dance as part of their degree requirements, providing a well-rounded performing arts education. Dance minors are therefore encouraged to explore other facets of performing arts as well, gaining invaluable exposure across creative disciplines and enhancing your skills, experience, and employability in the performing arts.
